Hot Maps East Help?

Featured Replies

I just purchased a Hot Maps East for a Lowrance Lms 3200, I put the card in a nothing happens. The gps uses the basic maps. How do I get this thing to work?

Thanks,

Dominic

Page 81 of the manual describes how to tell the unit to read the Navionics software.

If you don't have the manual, you can download one from the Lowrance website.

The 3200 is Globalmap model number

If you ment the LMS 320, then the instructions are on page 155 of that manual.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Tried what the book said, but it seems the unit is not reading the sd card. Could this card be too new for the unit?

I even made sure the unit had all the down loadable updates.

I know this may sound like a stupid question but is your SD card installed correctly?  I have a LMS 480 with a Navionics card and it works fine.  You just have to pick the correct area for your region from the dropdown box.

Dave,

Thats the problem. I put the card in and none of the buttons will do anything. With out the card in everything is fine. I'm just wondering that maybe its not compatable with the older unit. The card is an fhs pro east premium, maybr I need an older version?

If your card is fhp, it is not Navionics, it is the Lowance Fishing Hot Spots software.

The Navionics software is Hotmaps.
