Carpet Glue

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

The carpet on my '96 Ranger R72 is coming unglued in a couple spots.  I bought (and tried) some Gorilla Glue thinking it would work (never used the stuff) but I have to clamp the areas to be glued, which I can't.  I was wondering what I could use to touch up some spots.  I don't need a gallon of marine carpet glue or anything which seems to be the only thing around.

Thanks!

Gorilla glue, much like any contact, rubber based cement is applied, allowed to partially dry and then the two surfaces mated together.  It's not necessary to clamp anything together.  If it's possible to put some heavy weight over the glued area that will work fine.
