what would cause low rpms on a jet outboard take off only tacking about 4700 rpms normally would tack 5000 rpms seems sluggish. could it be a fouled plug

My first step would to ensure the butteflies are fully open at WOT.

hot weather and e10 would do this iwas thinking the same thing it did it one other time i bought some stabil fuel additive for e 10 hope thats the problem

i also checked throttle cable it had about a quarter inch more to open the butterfly's open all the way and i think my reverse gate needs to be adjusted as well so for completely tearing the boat down and rebuilding it i did alright
