Humminbird Fishin' Buddy series

Featured Replies

Anybody tried any of them? If so what are the positives and negatives, and which unit do you have?

Thanks,

Rory

I have a Fishin' Buddy made by Bottomline (prior to Hummingbird manufacturing them). I hang it on the side of my 12' jon and it gives me everything I need.  Water temp, locates fish and shows depth of water and fish.  Mine is the base model.  Ease of use, no transducer needed and relatively low price, it is perfect for me.

Same here. Although I'm saving for the 898c SI for my Stratos.

Do you have to twist the thing around or is that only with the one that has the side scan?

Been thinking about one too for my set up.
