Does Anyone have a MegaBass Triza Stym Palides and Ageha? questions

these the the two travel rods I am interested in.  two BIG missing pieces of info.

how long are the packages with the rods broken down?  do they fit in a duffel?  I think this is good info to know.

do they come with a tube case?  or is it only that sock-bag thing?

I am close to choosing an Amazon Peacock trip and I am leaning towards an outfit that requires us to use our own gear.  plus if fly to OK to hammer stripers annually.  thanks in advance.  this is a big painful purchase for me, and I dont want to screw it up..

My Stym Palides is 29-1/4" for each section. I also have a Grilz, which is a bit shorter.

They only come with the cloth wrap bag. You'll need something more protective. I have the purpose-built case from Megabass and I'm pleased with it. I can fit one combo with the reel attached, or both combos with the reels off (but in the bag).

Thanks.  So basically I can divide rod length by 3. :)

Not quite - you need to account for the ferrules.

oh..yea.  got it.  thanks!

I’d look at the dragoon for the triza rods, that is a f7 with two tips and lots of power and options. Covers lots of techniques.

FWIW, I agree with NathanDLTH. I have both rods you're asking about. They're quality travel rods, but if you're going for trophy peacocks in the Amazon, I'd worry (a lot) that both these rods are underpowered. I'd say the same for a lot of striper fishing. The Dragoon would probably be a much better option for your intended use, although I don't own that one.

to close this out.  i did get the Dragoon.

i think it would actually be a decent impromtu A-rig rod.  i can fling a 3/8th practice plug pretty easily, so i cant wait to try it out on a real fish.

nicest travel rod i have.  the parts just fit together nicely.  i have an Okuma that will send the tip into the lake on occasion. this one locks together tight.
