road trip!!  2 hour drive according to the Google.  but a single car accident there, crushed it..and a multi car crash on the way home really really crushed it.  I stopped for a bowl of Laotian noodle soup to restore my soul.

the fish HATED my gear.  I was casting reaction baits like I was fishing for musky.  WE visited a new spot on the California Delta.  in the warm months where you are punching and pitching for the edges, it looked like it would be fire.  (mental note to go back - we found a hidden lagoon I dont think the bass boats can get to where I bet the bass spawn and pre/postspawn).  I said these words to my friend the night before, "hey, dont forget your A-rig". recent rains and cool weather had the floating mats all broken up.  it was floating everywhere.  everywhere.  fish were mid channel mostly.  the a-rig was the magic bullet.

he kinda crushed it.  striper and largies were swiping at his presentation.  he got 8.  hahhaa..

I need to buy an A-rig..or sell everything and take up golf.  on the bright side the cute young Laotian women were really flirtatious. :D
