Its that time of year for many of us and a reminder that if you haven't thrown a flat side crank before the bomber flat-a is $4 and has recently been updated with new more modern colors, modern hooks and a weight transfer system as a gen 2 bait.  You can see the weight transfer system in the bottom pic.  These baits are more buoyant than others like the frittside which means they do better in rip rap but will need a suspend strip added for a slower rise rate.  Bass pro also stocks these baits and will have them in bins in store.
