Just picked up a new Lew's Pro SP, 8.3:1 left baitcast reel. I'd like to switch out the handle with a graphite handle. I'm not sure what the handle shaft size is. Are Lew's baitcast reel shaft 8x5mm or 7x4mm?

It should be 8x5mm. I bought an aftermarket handle that came with an adapter for the smaller 7x4mm Shimano shaft, and the handle fit on my lews without the adapter.

Daiwa or industry standard size of 8x5.
