Best Bow Fish Finder

Featured Replies

I am in the market to update my Lowrance x135 fish finder. I already have a Lowrance 522c at the helm and wanted a better finder for the front. I wanted a DSI so was looking at the Lowrance Elite 5x DSI. Would you recommend that unit or spend 100 more and get the Elite 5? I just don't know that I would need GPS at the Bow?? Any help would be appreciated. Open to other suggestions. thanks

I have a 523C on the bow.  The way I fish off-shore structure I wouldn't be without GPS at the bow.  It makes it much easier to find and stay on the "sweet spot".

If you don't fish deep water it probably wouldn't matter as much.

Do you mount the transducer for these on your trolling motor or elsewhere?
