Lews American hero baitcaster drag problem

I woke up this morning to go fishing, I grabbed my baitcaster like I've used it everyday all of a sudden the drag won't set whether I tighten or loosen it it loosen real good but when I do it tighten it as tight as it can go it's still loose very very loose anybody got any suggestions

I’m assuming you’re using braid and it’s just slipping on the spool. Unspool all your line, and place a small piece of tape to stick the line to the spool, and then respool the line. Or use some thick nylon as backing. 99% of the time when casting reels have drag that won’t work, it’s actually just the line slipping on the spool.
