This may be a dumb question but can someone explain to me what 'Needs' means on MLF Scoretracker? I get it that angler #2 is lets say.. 2 lbs behind the leader and it is shown as such under the 'Behind" column, but in the 'Needs' column it may show he needs 6+ lbs. and I don't understand what that means.

The size fish the angler needs to catch to replace his smallest fish AND make up the difference in weight he is behind the leader. For example, if his smallest fish is a 2 pounder and he’s 3 pounds behind the leader, he “needs” to catch a 5 pound bass.
