In Shimano's JDM line up, what would be the closest equivalent to a USA Tranx 201?

    Scorpion 150 MGL or scorpion DC.  Same platform but with an MGL spool or DC system.  Think of it as a curado 200k spectrum.  Scorpion 150 mgl on the finesse side, curado 200k and DC reels in the middle and tranx 200 on the power/salt side.  They have the tranx 300 as the scorpion 300 MD too but the tranx 200 is unrelated to the tranx 300.  It's actually a curado 200k platform reel.

    Interesting.  I already have a Scorpion DC.  I'm looking for an ocean reel and wasn't sure how it would hold up to the salt. 

     

    They seem to have a lot more JDM salty reels than offered in the USA.  Besides the Scorp 300MD does anything stand out to you as a good power/salty reel in the 200/300 size range?  Casting 1-2oz swimbaits to Lingcod, Cabazon and Rockfish would be the use.
