super interesting development.  my wife is my dog's favorite. he protects her.  we both had Covid, he never left her side.  if he could, he would have brought her a tylenol.  he only left to eat and poop/pee.  he would run back and lay next to her bed right away...as i shuffled around the house with chills :D no dog.

when she works at home, he lays next to her facing the door.  ready to bark at anyone.

i've never heard him bark, when i work from home.  haha..i have only heard him bark when i call my wife from the office.  even my mailman noticed this and commented.

BUT.  JULY 4th.  i slept on the living room floor with my wuss dog that is super afraid of fireworks.  he slept next to me while i pet him.  he trembled at the beginning and finally relaxed.

Now?  he follows me around.  hahahhaha.. i'm not gonna lick a covid person to test my theory, but my situation has improved.

dogs are the funniest.
