Diawa Procasted SE questions about

Featured Replies

Hey fellas THAKS TO RISK KID I have a MH baitcaster headed my way I just saw this reel The Diawa Procaster LE in the Cabela's site Aluminum Body and 9BB's on sale for 59 bucks Is this a good reel I already am looking at a Trion but will still need a reel for my 4th rig. Otherwise Im holding out for another Trion just wondering This reel is a Cabelas Exclusive??????????

This is the link;;;http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20166-cat20331&id=0037754121126a&navCount=3&podId=0037754&parentId=cat20331&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=6IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20331&hasJS=true

It looks like the Procaster 6+1 100H reels I have. IMO the line pawl assembly is cheaply made on the reels, but I have had these reels for 4 years now though limited in use, they still work fine. The magnetic system doesn't work as well as the higher priced Daiwas have.I hope this helps you.

the_muddy_man,

It is probably a lighter version of the 06 PR100H that is black and gold. Check out the Daiwa site...

The only thing that I would question is the 9 BB's.. The 100H has 7 BB's and weights 9.0oz., the Cabela's Exclusive has 9 BB's and weights 8.8....

Good luck in your search...
