Pensacola, FL Shark Fishing.. Going Tuesday

Featured Replies

Heading to Pensacola, FL in the Morning. Taking my Heavy Catfish/Snagging Gear to do some Shark fishing and what ever else bites. But Tuesday I have a guide lined up with real Shark gear. Last trip I had a guide one night and we had no luck. I did better with my own gear of the Pier at Fort Pickens. Caught two nice Black tips and two small Sharks. Not sure what the small sharks where. Our resort we are staying at has a pier but it's Bay side past Pensacola Bridge.

Hoping the guide will pan out better this trip. I believe Hammers and Tigers are making their rounds down there right now.

My Son caught this nice red Snapper on a KatKing set up and the bigger Black tip on an old Ugly stick with a 1970's Dawia spinning reel. That was fun to watch.
