look at the recon elite i built a 7 foot 1 heavy its a great rod.

I just want to know where the #6-15 pound bass are and an invite would be fantastic!!   I just know you are not from Minnesota.  Lol

Thanks Corey90, would you say then that the Recon Elite is better than the K2 models or just more bang for your buck?

Very good question.....just going by what my client requested and it's not just for Bass, other large fish .  He had some east and west coast fishing trips planned.

I know those places exist, just not near my life.  That will be a cool build.

the k2 blanks are a bit better for bortom contact 765 and 736 anyway and rhe recon elite i think are better for moving baits

Thanks Corey90! Actually got an estimate on a K2 765 as a starting point.  Thanks for your feedback. I will consider the Recon Elite.

Never had a Phenix, no one carries them around here, but am really interested in checking them out.  Lots of guys who I fish with that spend 1k on a Zenaq or Century, really like to use Phenixs' blanks for inshore and near shore.
