Can anyone ID this grass type?  Is it Coontail?  It's from a lake in MA.  Sorry it's not the best picture.

Hornwort is what the old timer I fished with called it.  Not sure about any scientific names 

Should of just grabbed a handful of that stuff and taken a picture out of the water - so hard to tell from that vantage. Could be coontail/hornwort as suggested already, but might also be Cabomba. Those would be my first two guesses.
