looking for a blank that can drag and pull 1/2-3/4 oz slider weights through heavy grass. my price range for the blank is 250 dollars and i know there are so many rod blanks available but i cant buy them all to try out on the water before i buy them so im looking for your suggestions on any blank not just the typical answer everyone will say 7'6" - 8' fast to extra fast blank. i need power to get them weights through that grass easy

An X Fast blank the same power as the fast will have a softer tip when pulling your offering. If you are looking at the Point Blank blanks, be advised the tips are lighter than the ratings would make you believe and they cast very well off the tip, you will have all the butt power you will ever need. The PB761HF may be worth looking at.

690 grams of power i just purchased the blank now looking at the 73hxf thanks for the suggestion. nice to see those tech # give you a good idea of the rods power. would be interesting to see the blank with 1150 power deadlift 22 pounds that would be cool
