Bass Pro Shops Mega Tournament Spinning Combo

Featured Replies

Does anyone here own a Bass Pro Shops Mega Tournament Spinning Rod and Reel Combo? I'm thinking about getting one for some of the lighter fishing I do. I know there are better ones out there, but this seems like an affordable but good setup. Thanks for any replies.

Click on the link to see it--I'm too stupid to make it where you click on "Bass Pro Shops Mega Tournament Spinning Rod and Reel Combo" and go straight to the site. I even read the instructins on the FAQ's, but I'm just to darn dumb.   ;D

I don't have one but I did just receive my new BPS Extreme baitcaster.  I will compare it to a Quantum Accurist.  I tried the Accurist for a day and it was high quality but I still backlashed it from over casting.  I went with the BPS Extreme and the quality is just as good and I have only backlashed it once due to overcasting.

Sorry, I know you're asking about spinning gear but I thought I'd add this for extra insight.

It was highly recommended and the reviews on the internet say that BPS reels are good stuff.  I'd like to get a BPS spinning reel now so I would recommend it.  From what I see, it's good quality for the money.
