another obsolete topwater lure im looking for

Featured Replies

Saw it years ago and have wondered what it was called and where to find it. It was metal, like a wide spoon shape and had a slot in the center where there was a metal disc or paddle that would churn up water. It also had a rubber skirt on the back. Think it was weedless, saw some guys throwing it in the slop after a heavy rain, just slammin the fish!! Wanna say it was a Moss Boss but that aint it.

Thanks Avid. Anyone still use this bait with success?

I used to use them a lot more. They come through the grass pretty well and attract fish. I don't recall the hook being very good. At any rate, I stopped using it as many more weedless topwaters came into the market.
