could anybody tell me whether or not this would make a good finesse reel? would it be a good reel to fish weightless plastics on and use with lines in the 6-10lb range

    I have a curado 101D and it works pretty well for finesse fishing. I am not very experienced with setting up a baitcaster with a weightless plastic but I was able to do it.

    I don't own one yet...

    But if it isn't paired up with the right rod, no reel no matter whether it is made for finesse or not, will cast a weightless lure with any accuracy.

    Other than that I have serviced a few of the 100 and 101D's so far this off season, they are truly fine light reels.
