2008 Sun Dolphin Pro w/same brand trailer

Featured Replies

I am in central PA and considering a used 2008 Sun Dolphin Pro 120 with a Sun Dolphin trailer. It has the original equipment but maybe a different motor. Lights, trolling motor, battery, charger, live well w/aerator, seats, oars, boat cover, etc. I have been trying to find more about this boat, as the company was KL Industries but changed its name to Sun Dolphin. It is difficult to locate the online manual for the year 2008. Does anyone have any experience or comments about this boat? I am new to boats and fishing (other than bicycling to the local lake when I was a kid to rent a boat for $2/day at 430a so as to beat the early morning fisherman). I am curious if it has the holes needed for a bimini and if I can realistically get it off the trailer, into the water, and then out of the water and onto the trailer BY MYSELF (ie. Without a 2nd person). I cannot think of anything else to ask about so any thoughts (based on experience) is appreciated. Also, storage - how can I keep snow from piling up on it if stored outside until I can arrange for a covered area to store it under? Thank you in advance.
