Evergreen Brett hite super combat stick

Anybody have any experience with this 7'3 heavy mod fiber glass rod? Not a lot of videos on it and was wondering how versatile was this rod. Was planning to use it for chatterbaits and maybe even deeper cranking. Its also on sale too so curiosity is creeping on me.

I did. Its heavier than what I'm use to since I'm more of a graphite rod user, but it isn't crazy either. Sensitivity is amazing with it. I feel like 1/2oz jackhammers is probably best with it but it can defintely do the 3/8 or heavier ones as well. I've also used it for throwing gantarels and its not bad for that either. I think if you can get it from a deal then its a no brainer but at the same time if you already have a nice bladed jig rod, then I wouldn't rush or pay full price for it unless you got money to burn.

Haha definitely don’t have $ to burn. TW had it listed as a daily deal end of last week. I ended up not pulling the trigger as I have no experience with glass rods. Would hate to spend that kind of money and end up not liking the feel/weight of the rod. But glad it was been a good purchase for you! I’m still in the market for a 1/2oz and up bladed jig rod. Want something that will work well for bladed jigs and lipless cranks. I fish the Tennessee river system and the rod must be able to rip lures out of grass. Been eyeing the Dobyns DC746cb rod. Not a lot of information on that rod either.

My apologies for not getting back sooner. No issues with ripping it out of grass, then again where I'm at there isn't much yet. I would say in my experiences, I've lost quite a few fish with glass rods. It is entirely on me though since I'm used to hook setting with graphite rods so I really don't have to wail on them. With the glass rod whether I'm fishing a crank or a bladed jig, I do gotta swing a bit harder to hook them good.
