the Shimano Spirex can be fitted to any other Shimano spinning reels? or is there any other double paddle reels out there with no quickfire(reel lag)?

A Spirex 2000FE handle will fit a Stradic 2500FH, although the fit isn't as snug as the original Stradic handle.

how does it feel on the retrieve?

I didn't try the retrieve.  Just did a quick (which isn't that quick given the nature of the Stradic handle attachment) swap.  The stud on the Spirex handle is just a bit smaller than that of the Stradic handle, hence the slop.

I would try on my Symetre, but it is a 750.
