baitcaster memories

Featured Replies

When I read the advice given to our fellow fisherman about backlash's I cant help but think about my dad. Back in the day that's all we had were bait casters with REAL string. He had endless patients on the banks of Lake Eries teaching a little boy who wanted to cast more then fish the fine art of removing a birds nest that would make any eagle proud. It brings a smile to my face every time I think of it. Thanks for the fun memories and remember your not learning how to cast but rather preparing to give your child some fond memories in the future.  Dad the older I got the smarter he became.

Great post.  Stirred lots of oldmemories forme also.  Thanks

Kelley
