MVP of today! Teckel Kicknocker spec-2

Man that was fun!  I got a few fish in the dark morning slow sinking a stick bait.  I kept seeing fish rise.  I briefly tried a frog.  Zero sniffs.   Then I decided to make a racket.  I tied on my Bone-colored Kicknocker.  It’s the second version.  At rest it seems to sink lower at the tail section.   I was bombing them amongst the trees.   The hits were always a surprise, and very enthusiastic.  One smallie came completely out of the water and dove on top of my lure.  He avoided every hook point.  Fish after fish.  I got a five that slammed it on the pause.  No pics because she got all three hooks in the mouth.  Took a bit to free her, then all three trebles buried into my net.  Then one into my glove.

my favorite walking bait.  I easy to get it to sachet across the water.  Good in breezy waters. Loud.  The hooks kinda suck.  Had to replace all three just now. 
 

rod.  Perfect Pitch levante edition, 50lb braid , and the most beat up reel I own.  SLX DC.  No leader this time.  The lure is the smaller one. I think it’s THE PUP.
