I have been looking at the feather and Kaden from Phenix and Dobyns but need help deciding. It will be used for big T-rigs, jigs and a little frog fishing. 

 

I've not used the Phenix rods, but I'm a huge fan of the Dobyns Sierra and Kaden series rods. They're amazing rods and a really great company to work with.

I’m looking at the Kaden 715. The main reason I considered it is because my oldest son is named Kaiden haha. Have you used the 715 or one similar?

 

Yeah man, that 715 is a good stout stick. I'd use it with braid for frogs or with fluoro for heavier jigs. It's definitely geared towards heavier techniques. 

The Kaden 715C Mag Heavy balances well with a 200 sized reel. 
Sensitivity is average for Heavy powered rod.
I used mine for frogs, C Rigs, punching and really anything on the heavier end.
