Nomad Panderra Braid?

Featured Replies

Bout time to respool my main jerkbait rod and this braid caught my eye. Was originally going to get my tried and true PPV2 slick or yozuri in blue. Was only 2-3$ more than PPv2 and the colors caught my eye. Feels very supple, more so than PP and just as slick without that wax feeling coating PP slick has.

Anyone have experience with it? Only feedback I could find was 100# saltwater stuff.

Wish I knew, but I was looking at that myself not too long ago.  The dia was very thin and it made in Japan, so the quality is likely there.  I think its a newer line for the FW fishing crowd, as Nomad concentrates on nearshore and offshore angling.

Well i spooled it up tonight. Won't get to try it until Saturday the earliest.

Seems like it's quality but ill have to see how it does in the water. The color change in the line is pretty cool. Pink, 2 shades of blue, white and purple. If nothing else ill get to see what color shows the best for me.

I have been using 20lbs for about 2 years now. Still going well. Caught plenty of white bass and king salmons on it. Is it anything special, imo not really, but it is good line. The colors are nice, but it does fade a bit. I do think it cast a bit better than ppv2 and in my experience last way longer than yozuri super braid.

Mild report.

I like the line, very supple, holds knots really well, casts/reels quietly. I like the multicolor more than I thought, gives me an idea how much more line I have to retrieve before I expect my lure to start coming up. I've learned Pink is the easiest color to see across a lot of lighting conditions.

I'd buy again and it may take the place of my PPv2.
