Burke Lake Musky Fishing

Featured Replies

Hello all,

My name is Kasper and I am a 16 year old angler in Northern Va. I understand that DWR started stocking musky into Burke Lake once again and was hoping to hit it pretty hard over the winter time. I live in Arlington so it is really my only option for a Musky Fishery by my assuming I don't want to drive 3 hours up everyday. If anyone has any tips/experience with the fish in the body of water please let me know. I know it gets pounded during the summer time but I assume the pressure gets lifted once it cools down and into mid winter. I dont see a lot of bass guys catch any so I dont know if thats just because the fish are deep or just really smart. If anyone knows anything let me know.

Thanks
