Wow what a break: BPS didnt have the reel I wanted ( Fritts) in stock so instead of backordering it I cancelled the order. I had to go to Walmart and went to the fishing dept they had an older ABU5000 that someone ripped the warranty card and booklet out of the package the reels were marked 49.99 I got it for 35 bucks SOLD Im puttin on the Lamiglass Crankin Rod that Alpster wrapped for me .

Muddy, don't let anyone, even the posse fool you. Those ABU round reels are tough dogs. Of course the ones made pre 1980 are the really good ones but I've owned 5000 and 4000 series reels over the years and they still make a great, solid product for the money.

Hey Muddy, you won't be disappointed in the Abu. They make great reels. You couldn't beat the price either.
