How to fish BPS Tender Toads

Featured Replies

I purchased a few when I was in Vegas. On two diffeent outings Ive tried em. Theres one spot in particular that I cast to. Its between 2 trees against the bank, lots of matted milfoil. EVERYTIME I cast there I get a huge explosion, but my bait always ends up popping to the surface.Im thinking im casting into a spot where a frog lives.

I am waiting for the tension on the line but it never comes,I dont want to set the hook without feeling the tension and have the thing come rocketing back at my face.

So whats the best way of fishing this thing, what kind of action? Walk the dog,Short hops,do I fish it fast or slow? Whats been productive for everyone?

Bait in question:
