I recently purchased a new in package spinning reel on Ebay. Its an Abu Garcia Cardinal Maxxar 3. Line size is 4/6/8. Does anyone know anything about this reel. Whats good and bad about it? Whats the retail price if purchased in a store?

    good...its an abu...i have 2 cardinals and i love them...dont know about the maxxar but mine were 33 bucks each at walmart

    came in two series, the 3 and a 3T, all were circulated last of the 90's. Now a discontinued reel, meaning no parts available.

    MSRP around $30-$40 ea.
