Okuma Warranty and CS

Featured Replies

Around 2 weeks ago I was fishing with light swimbaits and the wind started to pick up so I started attending more to the TM and steering the boat than to my tackle. My 7.6 MH snapped on the cleat and broke  in half, I was so furious with myself that I hit the rest of the rod in my hand with the side of the boat and broke it some more.

I was really embarrassed and mad and planning to buy a different rod but a good friend talked me into calling the CS.

I thought in making  an story but I finally decided to come out with the true and already prepare to hear a good " we are sorry but accidental and stupid breakage are not covered". The only question I was asked was about the mailing of the warranty card and  a request for the piece of the rod that carry the model # with $ 14.95 for S&H. Yesterday I got a brand new one at my door steps.

That is the way to support a product.

Thanks Okuma.
