berkley rod question

Featured Replies

i have two rods i always fish with one is an old 7' mh lighting rod and a bionix im7 6'6" medium. I curently fish cranks and spinners on the 7' and plastics on th 6'6" is this the best use of the rods or should it be the other way around thanks in advance

I would definately go the other way around with those two.  I like the shorter more limber rod for spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, and crankbaits and the longer stiffer rod for soft plastics (the heavier power will help haul bass out of weeds).  That's just my 2 cents worth.

i use a berkley bionix 6' MH for jigs/t-rigs etc and a 6'6" berkley cherrywood for cranks/spiinerbaits/topwaters..i also have a 6' MH cherrywood that i need to get another reel for it, i will use it for t-rigs and such as well

+1 for this one.  I like the 7' for jigging/worming as well.
