Great Deal on Beginner Baitcast Reels.

Featured Replies

Just got back from my local Wal-Mart, and noticed the clerk in the sporting goods section going through the reels in the case putting reduced prices on them.  I usually don't buy my rods or reels from Wal-Mart, but I just couldn't pass this up.

Pinnacle Extant Baitcasting reels the ELP10 model was $19.95 a piece marked down from $49.99.  They had to make room for new inventory, so they are reducing them across the country.  Didn't know this until my step-dad became a manager there, but when one Wal-Mart reduces something they all do across the country.  It's a country wide reduction of prices.  So, if the Zoom soft plastics are $2.49 at your local Wal-Mart you can count on them being the exact same price around the US.  Needless to say  I went ahead and bought all three of them since they make good gifts for the beginning angler, and I may even throw one on my river rod.

Just a heads up in case you are looking for a medium quality baitcasting real.

Only for rollbacks, not for clearance merchandise.

Different stores charge different prices most of the time.  Two WM's 35 miles away discount their new release DVD's every week.  My local store hasn't discounted a new release in the two years they've been open.
