Gonzo Grub, any info on it?

Featured Replies

Back in the warmer months I bought a pack of these cause I thought they looked "hitable". There made by YUM and are in redshad color. They basiclly have the body of a grub with one side being a skirt and the other being a double tail. How can I fish these baits. I tryed fishing them texas rigged and weightless during the warmer months but I had no success so I basiclly lost confidence in them and haven't touched em since. Anyone have any experience with these Gonzo Grubs? Is there a particular way to fish them?

By themselves ...... on a jig head

They are my personal favorites to use as trailers on jigs.

I fish a spider grub like a jig either I pitch it to a spot, swim it through an area, or hop it off the bottom.

How do you use it as a jig trailer? You just thread it through the hook?

Yep, thread it on tentacles first...

I like fishing them deep for smallies on football jig.  Gives a bit of a different profile when everyone's throwing tubes.
