This may sound stupid to a lot, but when you are putting a creature type plastic on as  a trailer, do you thread it like you would fish a t or c rig, or do you just put the hook in the center. I haven't fished a jig, but am wanting to try it. Thanks in advance.

You have the weed guard on the jig as it is. No need to rig the trailer weedless too.

What he said, only hook the trailer so it will have the best action. In other words you want it to move as much as possible. This usually happens when you hook it right in the center. JMHO
