I was wondering how many people use these. Seems like a great idea, makes holding the rod more comfortable.

I was about to order a few in black, when I realized how hot the handles may get from the rods being in the sun. I don't like red or blue, but I'd hate holding a really hot handle, like a steering wheel when your car has been parking in the sun.

Do you think this would be a problem?

The tennis wraps are usually a bit cheaper.  The BPS wraps are overpriced.  I bought one of the BPS wraps, had to do a lot of retro-engineering to get it to work as it should have.

As for the black, I have no idea.  Give it a try and let us know.

Will do, I'm going to a sports shop Thursday to pick a few up. maybe they'll have other colors for tennis wraps.

Keep in mind that you dont have to wrap the entire handle. This will save you some wrap and keep the weight issue down if you're concerned with that.

Do the wraps add that much weight? I didn't think about that until you mentioned it.. Now Im' a bit skeptical.. =\ maybe I won't use them?
