rod repair???

Featured Replies

ok so today i was driving down the rode and some how my favorite rod broke (it was my first ever rod and it had A LOT of battle wounds on it) it broke after the second eye, dows any one know how i can possibly fix it?

Duck tape???????????    ::)   Most rods arent worth fixing no matter how "favorite" they are.  If the manufacturer can replace the tip then that might be an answer.   If its a one piece any "repair" that could be done would undoubtably change the action and then may not be a "favorite" anymore.  Solution is to buy a new rod.

Contact your local tackle shop and ask who in your area is doing rod repair they should know someone. Then take it to them and find out if it is even worth the repair cost. Even if it can be repaired it won't be the same rod. Other than that purchase a new one, and keep this one out of the bike spokes.. :)
