PLAN TO FEED THE BAITMONKEY OVER THE WINTER

Featured Replies

WELL I HAVE COME TO MY UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT I LIKE TO FISH WITH

I really like having 3 rigs set. My main one is the Rod ALPSTER custom wrapped for me I want to get a Pflueger Trion 5:3 to1 and that will be for Cranks and Topwater I have a BPS extereme reel on it now but I loive those Pfluegers better

The Techna AV /Pflueger trion 6;1  will stay pat

My Worm Rod a BPS Extreme 6'6" stays but the extreme reel wiil be replaced by a Trion

The biggest disapointment is my Spinning rod The St Croix Premier, 3 guide insert repairs in one year!!!!!  I am going back to a Fenwick HMX on that one. 20 bucks cheaper and so much more reliable. Yes the St Croix is lighter and not much more sensitive but i have had 3 Premiers and my Buddies use them faitfully and all have this insert problem IT AIN"T FOR ME

Dominick,

You still have the St. Croix with the lost inserts? I been wanting to get up and see you anyhow. I have a set of spinning guides that won't shed the inserts. I can cut the old guides off and replace them. No sense paying the baitmonkey when you don't have to.  ;)

Hey thanks Ronnie truth is I don't want to start a whole rod discussion but t the prices i can safley shop at The Fenwick suits me a whole lot more than the St Croixs I actually like the Fenwicks better . That should start some crap, but who cares ;)

PM me Sept. brings smaller numbers of fish but they are much larger on the CHUNK, besides you probabblycould use some good Italian eats by then. Lets get a couple of days on the lake. I am off Sundays ,Monday and Tuesdays not due back to work until 11pm On Wed
