Wiggle Wart?

Featured Replies

What are your thoughts on the Wiggle Wart by Storm? Is it all that it is cracked up to be, and when is it most successful?

Well the old wives tale goes: IF YOU WIGGLE IT YOU MAY GET WARTS!!!!!

I don't know about the wiggle wart but the Hot'nTot is supposed to be super, especially for Walleye.

I was talking to another fisherman in Dick's several weeks ago and be said he buys half a dozen of the Hot'nTot in a crawdad pattern, for bass, at the beginning of every season. FWIW

so that's why your hand is all lumpy?

the wiggle wart and mag wart are among my favorite crankbaits, and I love crankbaits.

they have a very wide wobble and give off alot of vibration.

It your primary forage is shad, there are probably better choices, but for anything else, especially in off colored water, the ww cant be beat.

Caution.  The old originals, are pricey and highly sought after, because after  Normark bought the company they changed alot and none of it was good.   but they didn't get to be #1 lure company by being stupid.  they got the message and are now using the original molds and hardware setup.  so make sure your getting a lure that hasn't been sitting around for a couple of years.

Pretty much what Avid said.

I think the Wiggle Wart is one of the greatest crankbait designs in life, and when fish are eating crawfish this is almost always the crankbait I reach for.  Around here, they're most productive during the pre-spawn - but I'll use them anytime the conditions call for it.

great lure man....  ;)

these things are great for summer fishing when the bass are reall looking for that wide wobble

My poor Wiggle Wart never makes it out of my crankbait box.  I've used it a few times and never had luck.  I just wasn't near a lot of fish a the time though.

When the bass go back into the back of coves in late fall, I'll have to remember to get this little jewel out and wiggle his little tail off.

As far as a crankbait with a wide wobble goes its hard to beat the Storm Wiggle Wart, just ordered a bunch of em.
