What do you think about this?

I read a similar post and thought it was a good idea:

I can get something for around $200 this year for christmas along with a vacation and I was wondering what I could use to help my fishing. Part of my predicament is that Ive got a rod that may or may not be replaced, depending if diawa finds a fault in my old L&T 7' jig rod that broke. If I can get the rod I want a nice reel for it, if not Ill get a decnt combo. Right now I have these:

7' TD-S w/ Viento  Jigs

7' TD-S w/ Echolon  Spinners/ chatterbaits

6'6" Quantum w/ cheapo reel  Swimbaits

6'6" Diawa Custom w/ IDK small stuff

6'6" Procaster Combo stuff

I was thinking a 6'6" TD-S crankin rod with a revo s or sx would be good but Im not sure. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks
