Parabolic Vs. Standard Rod Actions

Featured Replies

I've been looking into the Carrot sticks, and noticed they offer them in a 'Parabolic' action.

Could someone explain the difference to me between the Parabolic and standard rod actions ?  I know the basic functions of the standard rods, but what is 'Parabolic'?

I think parabolic is most similar to slow.

UL, L, M, etc.... have nothing to do with the action of the rod. These are ratings for how much force it takes to bend the taper of the rod. (AKA the rod's power rating)

UL being the easiest to bend, than L, and so on....

I'm sorry. I had just waken up when I posted that, and wasn't thinking clearly.  I've edited the original post.   :)
