What are they best used for..ive heard cranking to drop shotting..I wanna get a rod for drop shotting soo will medium work for that and what else are they good for?

I use my medium action casting rod for cranks, traps, light spinnerbaits, big inline spinners for coldwater bass, and finesse pitching. As for my medium action spinning rods, they get the nod when I'm throwing a stickbait, shakey head, tube, or light (3/16, or lighter) texas rigged baits.
