hey these things look great! but how would you fish them? if i just reel them in, do they have their own action? is there any kind of special heads to put on them to give them swimming action?

if anyone could tell me how to fish them, that'd be great!!!!

You can rig them Weightless, Texas Rig, Carolina Rig, Drop Shot Rig, Wacky Rig, Nail rig, and Jig Head Rig.  Normally about a 4/0 ot 5/0 hook for the 4.5" size.  Bring the hook up in the slot on the back then skin hook the point to make it weedless.  As far as action, mix it up and see what the fish want.  I tend to use an erratic retrieve most times.

twitch, twitch then a couple of turns of your reel at a moderate pace. then repeat.

kind of like fishing a fluke. strikes are generally vicious.

i have better results if i hang about 1/16 oz. of weight off of the hook shank. it keeps the bait from turning on its side.

did i mention that they hit these baits really hard.

Fish do slam these.  All I can find where I am is the pre-rigged version.  I just swim them at varying speeds till they gulp it down.

where can i find a pre-rigged one?

Wal-mart has them, they're like 2.50 each.  What sucks about them, is the leadhead stretches and tears the bait all out of shape.  Once you catch a fish, good luck using the bait again.

The pre-rigged ones don't last very long, they get torn up quick. The jighead ruins the bait.

Texposing is the way to go in my opinion. No matter how you rig these your going to need to have super glue handy.

These are becoming my favorite bait. Bass just drill these things.

ok. if i t-rig it, does it really have any "swimming" action? or does it just move alot cuz of the joints?
