I have both & besides the color scheme & the bail wire, they seem to be the same reel. Both have the same bearing count & anti-corrosion bearings.

So what are the difference from these 2 reels? Why was the Stradic at $120 at its time when the Symetre was $80? The specs seem the same, I didn't see much difference in them.

I think you mean the Stradic FH, right? There's a world of difference between the Stradic FI and the Symetre.

As for the Stradic FH, there were a few differences between the two, but I can't think of them right now.

Do you have a BPS catalog?

If so, check out the Shimano spinning reels section and they will give you a chart with the differences among the various Shimano reels.

Also, have you checked out the Shimano on-line catalog?  If not, give it a shot and read what they say about each reel.
