I heard rumor that Baitmonkey was spearheading the campain to get the $600 per person rebate. I heard he was figuring that was just the right amount of money for everyone to own a Loomis IMX MBR844 rod, spool of Sufix braid, Lucky craft Pointer, and Daiwa Zillion reel. Sure sounds about right to me....

I will pass the rumor to the wife.  Hopefully she won't question it!!

The first thing I thought of, when I saw the news report on the possible rebate, and how it would boost the economy, was JDM. ;D ;D ;D I would get my Pixy with it. So much for boosting the American economy. :-[

Let's HOPE Mr. BM can be fed some more $$$s. Alas, it looks like the Senate and those sorry jerks who are in it are going to muck the whole initiative up:o(
