Anyone have have any experience with Ambassadeur 4600-C3, wondering what you think of them.

    Excellent choice. I have two of them and had them upgraded to C5. I also have a C4 that was upgraded to C5 and the gears changed to 5.1. I use them for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and Carolina rigging. I just did not like the higher gear ratio in that mfg. reel. I prefer the 4000 size reels over the 5000 size for bass fishing.

    not the smoothest reel in the world or the lightest...but, definitely one of the toughest.

    good reel for the heavier patterns.
