Are the new Max series also Revo's?  

Why I ask is there's a $50 rebate going on when you buy any Revo b/c reels & a rod from Fenwick & All Star.  Just thought I'd take advantage of this if the Max reels are says Revo on them.

Any of you guys that owns a Max, can you check the box or the reel if it says Revo?

I have a promax, and the box says nothing about it being a revo. I have some revos also, and while the boxes are the same (which does'nt mean much) I don't believe that they are part of the same series.

They look a lot alike, but do have some subtle differences in the frame for starters.

Micropterus?

The frame, number of bearings, and if I remember right the brake systems are different.
