spinning combo

time to upgrade my spinning rig. i was thinking about getting a shimano symetre spinning reel and putting it on a st. croix premier.

i would be using it for mainly weightless soft plastics and lighter baits like that. i guess you could call it a finesse combo.

well is this a good combo for what i will use it for? do you need more info about what im using it for?

are there any more good combos in this price range? i really dont want to spend more than $100 each for the rod and reel.

thanks guys

Can you wait for the BPS sale that should be on the horizon at the end of this month?

Great deals on Shimano combos and reels plus other rods.

Right now the Shimano Spirex is on sale in the Cabela's 2008 Master Fishing Catalog, page 66.

the Spirex Fish Eagle II Combo is only $109.98 for the size you will want. as is the Shimano Sahara.

But if I was you I would take your MOM to the BPS and get a Shimano Stradic Combo and tell her what a great deal it is and that you will never catch another fish unless you get it and then you will go off the deep end and be a politician in Maryland where they are the biggest crooks other than for Louisiana.

This is your future and mental health we are talking about.. ;D
